I grew up in a wonderful Christian home and learned to love singing and preaching and traveling. I was saved in March of 1996 at my parents home in the little town where I grew up, that night I remember kneeling by my dad's chair in our living room and in genuine repentance asking Jesus to save me and to come into my heart. After that time I began to want to do something great for my Savior. I began to pray when I would see a Missionary slide presentation, or go to a revival meeting " Lord what do you want me to do?" Through those times I continued traveling with my parents and my other siblings.
After graduating High School I began to pray about going to Bible College, I was torn between leaving my dad's ministry, my family, and going out by faith and beginning the work that I believe God was leading me to do.
The Lord had been working on my heart to let go and let Him do what He so desperately longed to do with my life, so in April of 2007 I began taking correspondence courses that a pastor had given me while I was in Louisiana. It was truly a miracle how the Lord provided the material for that course.
I finished the three year course in two, and began to feel that I should still go to a Bible College and gain the hands on experience that I believed was necessary for me to enter the ministry on my own.
After three years of much prayer and seeking the Lord's will, my family and I attended the Heritage Baptist Church of Lawrence Kansas, here was where God would lead me to attend Bible college. Pastor Scott Hanks graciously took me under his wing, and taught me many different things concerning Pastoring, Missions work, and spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
I was able to transfer two years worth of credits from my previous studies and graduate in the Spring of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology.. After graduating, the Lord led me to a piano repair shop where I was given the wonderful opportunity to learn the trade of piano repair work which I am available to do when I am not on the road.
